73” Tall Bunkbeds are now available! The extra 8” in height allows most adults to sit comfortably on the bottom bed. Placing a desk under a tall loft bed is also practical.
Both Crate and Mission style bunkbeds can be purchased with the tall 44” lower bed ends. Upper beds remain exactly the same. The Tall Lower Bed can be purchased
separately to add to an existing upper bed.
All tall bunkbed sizes are also available extra-long!
(The 4006, 4206 and 4706 models are not available in the taller version.)

The slope required in order to use a ladder on the front of the 4758 would be unsafe.
The ladder can be hooked on the end, as shown to the left or the bunkbed can be setup as shown in the picture to the
right above. It can also be set up as pictured below right (special order required).
All 3 pictures show the standard 4700 ladder.

All bunkbeds can be separated
into 2 beds. The picture to the
left shows a lower end used as
a headboard with an upper end used as a footboard.
Buy an upper or lower bed to
start and add the other bed
when you need it!
|
The picture to the right shows the upper bed of the 4758 centred on the lower bed. This can be done on any of the combination bunkbeds by special order.
Centering the upper bed can overcome sloped ceiling
problems or simply make the lower bed more convenient to get in and out of.

Bunkbed Safety
Use guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
Do not allow children younger than 6 years to use the upper bunk.
Always use the ladder for entering or leaving the upper bunk.
Prohibit jumping and general horseplay on or under the bunkbed.
On the top bunk, ensure that the mattress thickness does not
exceed 8" and that there is at least 6" of space between the top
of the mattress and the top of the guardrails.
Periodically check the bunkbed to ensure that all hardware is
tightened and in its proper position.
To prevent injury, never attach or hang anything to the bunkbed
that is not designed for use with the bunkbed. Examples include
jump ropes, belts, or any type of hooks.

Bunkbed Tips
Using an add-on guardrail on lower bunkbeds can add to your child’s sense of security.
Add an extra bed to your bunkbed with a trundle, or storage with a
drawer unit.
We recommend using foam mattresses on lower bunkbeds to prevent damage from climbing.
Housekeeping chores on the upper bed are much easier with a lighter weight foam
mattress as well.
The top of an 8” thick mattress on the lower bed will be 21” and on the upper bed will be 57” off the floor.
